Proof should survive the software that created it.
Palynth exists because nothing in the built environment could prove its own history. Not which revision changed the hardware, not who approved the substitution, not why the order stopped matching the design. Those facts were recorded somewhere, and no system could put them back together or show they had not been edited since.
Origin
Where it came from
Palynth began as an internal provenance experiment while building construction intelligence systems at FastBid24. The original question was narrow: when a drawing set is reissued, what actually changed, and what does that break downstream.
Answering it required a permanent identity for each physical asset, its state at every revision, the evidence behind each fact, and a way to prove none of it had been altered. That machinery turned out to have nothing to do with doors, or with construction, and it became its own thing.

Nothing is claimed twice
Every capability on this site appears in the status table on the architecture page, with the same label. If it is experimental there, it is experimental everywhere.

Demonstrations run real code
The walkthroughs are authored, and the engine underneath them is not a mock. Where a sequence was constructed to make a point, the page says so on the same screen.

Limitations are published
External anchoring is not operational. Only one discipline has run against real projects. Both are stated on the site rather than discovered in a call.
This is not modesty. A company asking to become the record of what happened cannot be casual about the difference between what it does and what it intends to do.
The direction
Where this goes
Wherever physical assets accumulate complex decision histories, the same gap exists. Equipment, infrastructure, manufactured assemblies, anything that is specified, changed, approved, procured, installed and then operated for decades by people who were not there when the decisions were made.
Palynth has run against one discipline in one industry. The model was built to be general, and generality is a claim we intend to earn rather than assert.
